A merciful providence
- Deuteronomy 33:13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
- 2 Samuel 17:12 So shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so much as one.
In the night
- Job 29:19 My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

- Proverbs 3:20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
